This application is for both new and returning OLS.
Orientation Leaders assist with new student programming throughout the spring and fall semester and serve for one calendar year. Below are the required trainings and events.
Required Events:
Spring Training: 6 Training Sessions during Spring Semester
Orientation Sessions – 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
6 Total: 3 dates in April, 1 date in June, July, & August
Camp Duke (Optional)

Welcome Week:
Training & Events Daily prior to the first week of classes.
SWOSUConnect: during the Fall semester

By serving the university in the capacity, OLs gain leadership skills, personal and professional connections, and a sense of pride in helping others make a smooth transition to college. OLs are given a $1000 Foundation scholarship for thier committment to the NSO program over the course of the year.
